Riverbank Nursery offers high quality childcare to those under 3 in a safe and vibrant setting.

From their very first days with us, children at Riverbank benefit from a rich and inspiring curriculum, thoughtfully designed to support early development through play, exploration and discovery. Our setting makes the most of our beautiful riverside location, including access to outdoor learning and Forest School experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Teesside High School is renowned for its outstanding, personalised care – and this continues down to our very youngest children. We are a child-centred, family-focused independent school, where your child’s happiness and individualised learning experience comes first.

Funded childcare provision is available, and families are offered flexible sessions to work around their commitments, choosing from mornings, afternoons or a number of full days. We are open from 7.30am-6.00pm to ensure continuous care on busy working days.

Pre-School

As the children reach their third birthday, they transition into our renowned Pre-School environment, where Early Years education and explorative play is the order of the day.

Our Pre-School boys and girls are taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers and teaching assistants and afforded the highest level of care to ensure the very best start to life.

Our small class sizes allow pupils to benefit from individual attention not always available in busier settings. We use forward-thinking approaches to teach key subjects in fun and engaging ways and find that our children make phenomenal progress.
