This is a huge achievement and we could not be prouder of the team.
THS vs Wirral
The girls played a fabulous game against Wirral Grammar School on Monday. The team consisted of Ava, Evan, Flo, Faith, Harriet, Katie, Lalulah, Yasmin, Abigail, Jocelyn and Sophia and they all played superbly. The teamwork and determination on display was amazing, and seeing the girls implement the skills so often practised in training during the match was fantastic.
Player of the Match was awarded to Abigail.
Sisters n Sport National Final
Due to their outstanding play and victory, the girls will now play in the Sisters n Sport National Final on Monday 24 March at Loughborough University, which was named Sports University of the Year for the fourth year in a row by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025.
Between matches, the girls have the opportunity of a tour of some of Loughborough University’s facilities, giving them a glimpse of what life as an elite netballer and university student might look like.
Parent Information
Team member parents will have today received a communication from Miss Turnbull regarding the logistics of attending the National Finals. Parents are welcome to attend and support the team. However, please note that parking will be charged and it is advisable to pre-book. The matches will be live streamed on social media by Sisters n Sport for those who cannot make it.
We are incredibly proud of the girls for this amazing achievement and wish them the very best of luck in this next stage of the competition!
