Chair of Governors elected Vice President for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)

Chair of Governors at Teesside High School, Mr Robert R Tindle, has been elected Vice President of the  Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) for the year June 2025 to June 2026.

Mr Tindle has been a member of the ICAEW Council since 2017, representing the Northern constituency. He is a partner at Tindles LLP, a firm he established in 2000, which specialises in providing a full range of business advisory and compliance services to entrepreneurial clients. Mr Tindle also plays a role in mentoring and developing young talent within the profession. He has been a Board member at Teesside High School since 2010 and took on the role of Chair in 2017.

Mr Tindle said: “I am honoured to be elected as the Vice President of ICAEW and look forward to taking up the role next year.”

“ICAEW’s Royal Charter commitment to work in the public interest is a huge responsibility, and maintaining and enhancing trust in the profession is my key priority.”
