We love seeing former students and their families at our many events across the year, from Open Days to summer fairs, through guest speaker talks and our annual Careers Convention and everything in between. Indeed, we have a number of former pupils working here as staff; and past students who in turn enrol their children to attend THS. People often refer to our school as a family, and this does not stop when students leave us.
This year, former pupils and their families are warmly invited to attend the 2025 Teesside High School Spring Ball which will take place in the beautiful Conservatory at Wynyard Hall on Friday 2 May, 7.00pm until late.
Tickets are £60.00 per person or £550.00 for a table of 10 guests. Tickets include a 3-course meal (vegan option available), a welcome drink on arrival and a night of dancing and fun. An auction will see proceeds split between the school PTA and our charity partner, Butterwick Hospice
The FSA hold an Annual Lunch in school, usually near the start of the summer term, when they offer the opportunity to meet up with old friends and look round the school, recall memories from their time here and see the changes that have occurred since then. The group also publishes an annual magazine containing news of former students and the Head’s Speech Day Report which details the events of the past year.
2024 marked 125 years since the formation of the Association by Miss B L Browne, Headmistress of the Queen Victoria High School for Girls. The inauguration of the Association took place on 24 June 1899 with 67 former pupils in attendance.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful afternoon tea celebration and Summer Fair to commemorate this milestone in our history.
