Life before Teesside High School
After graduating from Loughborough University, I went to work for Reed where I stayed for 12 years, initially based in Peterborough then relocating to Middlesbrough to open a brand new office for the Accountancy division. After a very happy career with Reed, I left to have a family; now all three are at school I have returned to the working world.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Helping families make the right decision for their little one’s future. Having children of my own I appreciate how important finding the right school is. I am fortunate to get the chance to watch children who join us develop and thrive in our fantastic and friendly learning environment.
What do you enjoy most about Teesside High School?
How it manages to balance both professionalism and the need for success on one hand with a huge focus on family values on the other. It really is a lovely place to work.
What is your favourite time of the year?
Summer – the grounds are so lovely; it makes me feel lucky when I get to sit outside in the sunshine and eat my lunch!
What do others say about you?
I’m a good listener, rarely moan and I need to make more cups of tea!
