This is a marketplace style event aimed at Yr 9 to assist them in gathering information to make informed choices for their GCSE studies in Yr 10/11.There will be a formal presentation from the Headteacher/Assistant Head during the event.

GCSE and A-Level Drama students will be going to the Darlington Hippodrome to watch the evening performance of 'Blood Brothers' to act as a refresher for their written exams in the summer.

Power Of Women (POW), are a group of dedicated business leaders in the North East, spearheaded by the late Professor Jane Turner OBE DL. Motivated by Plan UK’s report naming Middlesbrough as the ‘Worst Place to Grow Up a Girl,’ their mission is to improve the lives of young people in the Tees Valley and beyond.
Local business leader, Claire Preston, will be delivering a talk aimed at our female students allowing them to unlock and see their potential in business and beyond.

A visit to watch a set literature text before mock examinations

GSCE and A-Level Drama students will be going to Sunderland Empire to watch the matinee performance of the Broadway, West End and Netflix smash-hit, 'Dear Evan Hansen'.

The afternoon will involved our Year 5 and 6 pupils as well as those from local Primary schools. The afternoon will be split into two parts with pupils looking at aspects of the Ancient Greek and Roman world. The ancient Greek aspect will include transliterating pupils’ names and that of their favourite god or goddess as well as drawing their own black-figure vase design. The Roman element will look at the skills Roman soldiers in Britain were expected to have and involve team-work and communication activities as well as some physical exercise.

We will have a team practice in the Sportshall in replacement of this postponed fixture.

The match is away at Grangefield so please meet in the student entrance at 4 pm ready to leave. Please change into PE kit at lunch time and remember to bring a drink. I will collect those of you in Prep school at 4 pm from outside the Prep PE changing rooms.

U15 Sisters n Sport Cup Fixture. We are away to Newcastle High school. Please change into full PE kit at lunch time and be ready to leave promptly at 3pm during enrichment. We will return in time for the THS family fireworks. Remember to bring a drinks and snack.

A reminder that there are 8 runners per team and top 6 runners will count towards team points.

The names of any athletes who are unable to compete due to injury must be passed on to Rose Mullis from Stockton Schools Sport Partnership, prior to or during the event if they wished to be considered for district representation at the County Finals.

County Championships are due to be in January 2025 at Stewarts Park. Top 12 in each age group qualify. Date TBC.
