I have worked in a number of 11-18 state comprehensive schools and sixth form colleges in the North West and North East of England.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy seeing the students grow from excited Year 7s into confident, mature Year 13s. I love teaching Biology; from the wonders of cell Biology to the fascination of the workings of the body in anatomy and physiology.
What do you enjoy most about Teesside High School?
The enthusiastic staff and students.
What is your favourite time of the year?
The summer is my favourite time of year. I have lovely views of our fantastic grounds from my lab window – I’m still waiting for a deer to walk past, though!
What do others say about you?
Hopefully they would say that I am enthusiastic, friendly and love teaching Biology.
