Munich Trip – March 2026

The History Department is delighted to offer the incredible opportunity for students in Years 7-12 to take part in an educational and cultural trip to Munich, Germany from Friday 27 March to Monday 30 March 2026.

Munich is one of Germany’s most vibrant and historically significant cities, known for its stunning architecture, world class museums and rich cultural heritage. This visit will provide students with a unique opportunity to explore history, engineering and sports culture through a carefully planned itinerary that ensures a truly enriching experience.

The trip will be organised by NST, a specialist school travel company,  where the students will experience a programme of fully guided tours led by an NST Educationalist Guide.

Students will visit some of Munich’s most important historical and cultural sites, including a guided tour of Dachau Concentration Camp, where they will gain an invaluable understanding of one of the most significant events in modern history. They will also enjoy a behind the scenes tour of the  Allianz Arena, home of FC Bayern Munich, as well as an interactive visit to the BMW Headquarters and Museum, where they will explore the world of automotive engineering and innovation. Additionally, the itinerary includes a guided tour of the Olympic Stadium, offering an insight into its historical and architectural significance. There will also be time for general sightseeing and shopping, allowing students to experience the city’s unique atmosphere.

The cost of this trip is £925. This price includes return flights, coach transfers, bed and breakfast accommodation for three nights, and all fully guided tours.
