Teesside High School – Senior School Fact File
Tuesday 28 May 2024 | By Samantha HockneyOur Senior School provides the perfect environment for children to feel challenged and supported while giving them room to develop into independent thinkers who are ready to take the next step in their journey.
Academic excellence and aspiration are key ingredients to this, but by no means what we believe fully prepares a child for adulthood and life beyond school.
We want our pupils to finish their Senior School education ready for the challenges of the outside world, having fulfilled their academic potential and become rounded individuals with key people skills including the ability to value diversity, experienced through our inclusive ethos. The ability to form, develop and defend a set of values and beliefs also strengthens our pupils’ ability to effectively communicate with, and listen to, those around them.
Key facts

– Over 45 clubs available to all Senior pupils each term
– Unrivalled care for all – our full-time, non-teaching Pastoral Support Officer is an incredible asset to our students as they navigate life as a young adult.
