Life before Teesside High School

Since completing my apprenticeship in Supporting Teaching and Learning, I have worked in various educational settings in Teesside including state schools, special educational need schools and daycare nurseries. I have recently completed my Foundation Degree in Early Years and will continue on to complete my BA(Hons) Degree in Education and Training part time at Teesside University.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy working with the students and seeing them progress in their learning. I also enjoy building relationships with the students and their families as well as having a great working relationship with my colleagues.

What do you enjoy most about Teesside High School?

I love coming to work every day and feeling part of a family. I have worked in different schools and there has been nowhere else where I have felt happier.

What is your favourite time of the year?

I love the autumn and winter months the most. Our school does a lot of fun and exciting events during this time such as the Family Firework Display, Christmas Market and Carol Service. I also love how beautiful our grounds look with the autumnal colours and the snow.
